With more than nine years of first-rate design and project experience, Jean Fredrickson has brought her own special creative talents to the execution of many custom Midwestern interiors. With an emphasis on kitchens and baths, Jean has developed an exceptionally strong sense for custom cabinetry and the details that make her residential interiors both functional and distinctively memorable. Jean has been with Crestwood Design Center for over six years, and has been honored to earn the company’s Outstanding Design & Sales-Person of the Year Award on numerous occasions. Jean graduated first from Salina High School South in Salina, Kansas, and then went on to earn her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. She spent a number of years teaching school in Indiana and other parts of Kansas, ultimately returning back to Salina to establish her career in interior design. Jean has managed to balance her busy professional schedule with the raising of two boys in collaboration with her husband. With her family now grown, Jean continues to be very passionate about her work and prides herself in giving each of her clients a truly unique level of individualized attention. Her interiors are often innovative bringing a delightful contemporary sense of whimsy and fun to any given space. Combining a rich palette of materials with unique fixtures and state-of-the-art appliances, Jean’s designs inevitably appeal to a broad range of individual tastes. Her strong professional sense for color, texture, and proportion are matched by her upbeat and enthusiastic approach to project management. She consistently listens and responds to each client’s wishes delivering project after project with her customer’s spatial dreams realized. Not only are clients pleased with her talents, but often suppliers, contractors, and tradesmen request an opportunity to work with Jean. She claims that the best part of any project is seeing real excitement, pride, and sincere gratitude in the eyes of her clients when the work comes to a close… Jean says it just doesn’t get any better than that!
